Gauss is a webshop offering customers the ability to virtually try on glasses before making a purchase. I was tasked with designing the landing page and a virtual try-on glasses customizer for the site.
Art direction
The client, who was in the process of establishing their brand, requested art direction for the photography. I chose a natural or minimalistic background to emphasize portraits, using inspiring photographs by Branko Starcevic as placeholders in my design.
CUSTOMISER'S STEPS FOR THE PERFECT FIT
To use the virtual try-on feature, prospective customers first select a brand and are then directed to the customizer. The customizer guides them through several steps: taking a photo, adjusting pupil distance, customizing the size and color of the glasses, and finally, trying them on virtually.
