Fishbrain is a mobile app for sport fishermen - anglers. As a member of the Growth team, dedicated to rapid testing of solutions related to onboarding and user activation, I've done many different onboarding, paywall and activation solutions by wire-framing, prototyping and user testing.
Onboarding design
Over a year of working at Fishbrain, my team has designed and tried out many different onboarding screens. There were 2 main approaches: Taste onboarding and Map onboarding. Both of them would give users a completely different user experience. I designed interactive prototypes and conducted user testing to assure that we are on the right path.
Paywalls
Many different solutions have also been tried regarding the Offer screens - Paywalls. In addition to testing different copy-writing, we created diversity by highlighting different plans, creating new visuals and user flows. All screens were tested through usertesting.com
